Pashupatinath and Muktinath Tour

Overview

Pashupatinath and Muktinath Tour is one of the popular pilgrimage tours in Nepal. It takes you to three popular places - Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Muktinath which offer a lot of other religious temples and tourist places. This tour also consists of a short visit to Goddess Bhagawati Temple - Manakamana, on the way.
Besides two sacred Hindu temples, you will also get a chance to enjoy the panorama of splendid Himalayan ranges, varied flora, and fauna, changing beautiful landscapes, high hills, etc. In addition to these, if your trip takes place during the festive season, then you can even meet domestic pilgrims and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
Pasupatinath Temple, located on the bank of the holy river Bagmati, is nearer to Tribhuvan International Airport which makes it international travelers easier to reach there. Lord Shiva is worshipped in this temple and it is mostly crowded during Teej, Shivaratri, and each Monday. Since this temple is surrounded by forests, you can also observe deer and monkeys in large numbers.
Muktinath Temple, located in the lap of the Annapurna Himalayan Range, is popular for the salvation process. It is one of the most visited Shakti Peeth among 51 others. Every year thousands of pilgrims visit this temple to free themselves from the vicious circle of sin, life, and death. It is believed that by taking a bath in 108 Kundas of this temple, one gets Mokshya.
Pasupatinath and Muktinath Yatra begins from Kathmandu with a special evening visit to Pashupatinath for the 'Aarati' ceremony. In the evening, all the four doors of Pashupatinath are opened, so we will take darshan of all the four faces and listen to Bhajan. Next morning, we will again visit this temple to perform puja and explore the rest of the other places like Guheshwori, Bhairav Mandir etc.

From Kathmandu, we will drive to Pokhara. On the way, we will visit Manakamana Temple by enjoying the short 15 minutes cable car ride. Then, we will drive to Muktinath via Jomsom and take bath in 108 holy taps around the temple, offer puja and explore the surroundings.
We will return to Pokhara via Jomsom and spend an entire day sightseeing in Pokhara city which includes Bindabasini temple, Gupteshowr Mahadev, Tal Barahi Temple, boating at Phewa Lake, etc. This sightseeing will make your spiritual journey more vibrant.
Take this 8 days Pashupatinath and Muktinath Darshan Package and get a chance to experience the major pilgrimage sites along with short sightseeing in all the destinations - Kathmandu, Pokhara and Muktinath. This religious trip with Greater Himalaya will be the best travel experience of your life as we assure you to provide the standard services and assistance along with the customized itinerary.
